Our cat has been throwing up every few days, so we took him to the vet to get checked out. He seems to be pretty healthy, and we left with hairball control medicine. Last time we were there he was very sick, and weighed only 1.4 lbs. (here's the photo) This time he was running all over the room, and he weighed in at about 9lbs.

We also found out that he is a 'Maine Coon'. So when he's full grown, he could be about 20lbs. If you don't know what a Maine Coon is, you'll need to run a Google search (Be sure to check the google images as well.)

I went to the Gold Sprints last night put on by Brian, Richie Ditta, and Eugene over by downtown SD. Gold Sprints are where two bikes on rollers are hooked up to a computer so two people can race against each other. The computer measures how fast you reach a certain distance and determines the winner.

i've had the chance to get out and ride more lately which has been nice. i really needed a break after what late November and December both me through. since i'm carless i've been having to haul everything around on my back to go shoot, but at the same time i don't think i mind it too much.

i shot these two last night with isaac in a left over puddle. same spot as the original water skid photo.

I spun donuts in a parking lot today, so the rims packed up with snow. I thought it looked kinda neat.

I also cleaned the sensor.

everyone's always asking how to stand up your bike to take a picture of it, i thought this idea was kind of cool: just tuck a boom arm under the saddle.

This is what happens when you have too much money and too much access = awesomeness.

edit: the photographer shot it using a nikon d3 and nikon d3s equipped with a tilt shift lens to give the miniaturized feel.

Kareem gave me a call today mentioning he'd be filming Congo, a rider for Volume, for his upcoming sequal to Death Pedal. I loaded up my bag and met up with them, spending a day shooting/filming in Downtown San Diego.
